Brand Finance estimated the value of the 25 most valuable brands in the UAE at more than 172.5 billion ($ 47.0 billion), constituting about 33% of the total value of brands in the Middle East, amounting to about 520.7 billion dirhams (141.9 billion dollars). According to the Foundation’s reports of the strongest and most expensive brands in the UAE and the Middle East for the year 2021, 5 Emirati brands (ADNOC, Etisalat, Emirates Airlines, Emirates NBD and First Abu Dhabi Bank) were among the 10 most expensive brands in the Middle East, while 4 brands included ( Etisalat, Emirates Airlines, Emirates NBD and du) are in the top ten of the top 10 brands in the region.
In terms of classifying the 25 most valuable brands in the country according to sectors, the banking sector came to the front with about 12 banks with a total value of $ 13.7 billion, accounting for about 28.2% of the total, followed by the oil and gas sector through two companies with a value of $ 12.2 billion, and by 25.1% Then, the telecom sector through two companies worth $ 10.4 billion, by 21.4%, two companies in the aviation sector, at a value of $ 5.5 billion, or 11.3%, three companies in the real estate sector with a value of $ 2.2 billion, 4.4%, and two companies in the services sector with a value of 1.2 $ 1 billion and 3 companies in other sectors worth $ 1.9 billion.
According to the report, ADNOC topped the 25 most expensive brands in the country, followed by Etisalat, Emirates Airlines, Emirates NBD, First Abu Dhabi Bank, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Du Dubai Islamic Company, Emaar Properties, ENOC, Dubai Ports World, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, Taqah, Etihad Airways, James Education, Dewa, Al Mashreq, Aldar Properties and Abu Dhabi Bank. Al Islami, Commercial Bank of Dubai, National Bank of Fujairah, Aramex, Damac and flydubai.
On the other hand, Etisalat topped the list of the 25 most powerful brands in the country, followed by Emirates Airlines, Emirates NBD and Dubai Ports World, which was the fastest-growing brand in the country after its value increased by 17% to reach $ 1.1 billion.
